The Central Indiana Folk Music and Mountain Dulcimer Society began in 1971. Meetings are on the second Sunday of every month except June, from 1:00-5:00 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, at 52nd and Central Ave, Indianapolis.

Meeting Format
1st hour: 1:00 to 2:00 Open Jam Session as well as a Slow Jam
Board meeting
2nd hour: 2:00 to 3:00 Performance Hour by Society members
Each month a different "theme" is suggested.
3rd hour: 3:00 to 4:00 Workshops and Big Band Practice
4th hour: 4:00 to 5:00 Sharing Circle —Members and guests form a circle and share songs and anecdotes.

Membership: Annual household memberships are $25/year. Please send a check to CIFM&MDS, P.O. Box 1503, Indianapolis, IN 46206-1503, or give to the treasurer at our meeting. Please fill out the membership form and return it with your check.

Mission Statement: We are a not-for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the state of Indiana for the charitable and educational purposes of promoting, perpetuating, and supporting traditional American Music.
