The Central Indiana Folk Music and Mountain Dulcimer Society began in 1971. Meetings are on the second Sunday of every month, except May on third Sunday, from 1:00-5:00 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, at 52nd and Central Ave, Indianapolis.

Meeting Format
1st hour: 1:00 to 2:00 Board Meeting & Slow Jam*
Beginning at 1:45, sign sheet up for performance hour is available.
2nd hour: 2:00 to 3:00 Performance Hour by Society members
Each month a different "theme" is suggested.
3rd hour: 3:00 to 4:00 Workshops and Big Band Sing-Along
4th hour: 4:00 to 5:00 Sharing Circle —Members and guests form a circle and share songs and anecdotes.

Slow Jam: We play society song book tunes at reduced tempo. Musicians not familiar with our tunes can learn and practice together.
